The countdown to the 2023 Women Automotive Summit, hosted by Women Automotive Network on 20th September, is now well underway, as the automotive industry gears up to celebrate diversity and share key insights from well-known industry leaders.
Held at Forum am Schlosspark, Ludwigsburg, Germany, the highly anticipated Summit returns for its first in-person event since 2019. Welcoming 350 visitors in person and 700 online attendees, it offers automotive professionals the unique opportunity to meet the next generation of leaders and network with current industry role models.
The event will kickstart with a pre-show networking reception, hosted at the Flex Automotive Design Centre in Stuttgart on September 19th. The engaging ice-breaker session enables visitors to network with fellow attendees, participate in interactive activities, and build valuable relationships.
The Summit will then get underway, with key talks covering: ‘Competitiveness & the automotive industry: uncovering the latest global HR trends’ from Domiziano Pontone of Gi Group Holding; ‘The Power of Digitalization’ from Kirsty Skinner-Gerth of BMW; ‘There’s never been a better time to be a woman in automotive’ by Marie-Fleur Revel from XL2 GmbH by Audi & Capgemini; ‘Shaping a New Era of Mobility. Together’ from Nina Roeck of Bosch; and, ‘Leading Transformation in the Automotive Industry – taking the challenge’ from Patricia Bernstein of Porsche AG.
There will also be an on-stage interview with Thilo Koslowsk, founder and former CEO of Porsche Digital and Nicole Scott from Bloomberg TV Globally, which will look at ‘The Road to 2030: Navigating the Automotive Industry's Technology Evolution’, as well as an on-stage interview with Andrea Seidel from Daimler Truck AG and Micha Goebig from GO BIG Coaching & Communications.
And if that wasn’t enough, the Summit will also play host to an interactive round table session, a panel on ‘What Makes a Good Leader?’, and a talk on ‘Charisma – Myths and Realities’.
The session will draw to a close with the first-ever Women Automotive Awards, featuring an esteemed list of professionals being recognised for their remarkable achievements and contributions within the automotive sector.
Stephanie May, commercial director of Women Automotive Network, said: “We’re extremely excited to mark our return with our first in-person Summit in four years, and what an event it’s lining up to be. Set to be bigger and better than ever before, we’re delighted to be hosting some incredibly influential individuals from the automotive industry, who will be sharing key insights with guests – it’s definitely one not to be missed!”
The celebrations continue after the event, with the Porsche After-Work Event “Meet the Team”, at the Porsche Museum.
The Women Automotive Summit will bring together industry leaders, visionaries, and aspiring professionals, providing a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration.
It will serve as a catalyst for driving positive change and advancing excellence within the automotive industry.
