• New event dates confirmed for 2024 • Exhibition increasing in size influenced date change • Increased opportunities created by move to 2024

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Beautyworld Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s only dedicated exhibition for beauty, fragrance, hair and wellbeing, has announced it will defer its 2023 edition in order to accommodate a larger edition in 2024. The exhibition will take place 11-13 February 2024 at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC).

The show’s organiser Messe Frankfurt Middle East said the decision to move to was made with the best interests of exhibitors, visitors, trade partners and the wider community in mind. Initially scheduled for May 2023, the number of exhibitors has increased beyond the capacity available on those dates, leading to organisers deciding to move to 2024 in order to fulfil the needs of stakeholders.

“Following the success of Beautyworld Middle East in 2022 where we attracted more than 52,000 visitors we have had unprecedented for participation in Beautyworld Saudi Arabia” said Flyn Roberts, Portfolio Director at organisers Messe Frankfurt Middle East. “As a result of this demand we were unable to accommodate the size of the event this year, which impacted our ability to deliver the event our exhibitors and stakeholders deserve. Fortunately, we have secured the entire Riyadh Convention & Exhibition Centre in February 2024, providing the opportunity for the relaunch of the Beautyworld brand in the Kingdom, doubling the size of our floorplan and bringing the widest number of exhibiting companies to the KSA market in the events history, maximising the value proposition for all.”

Beautyworld Saudi Arabia 2024 is expecting to host around 200 exhibitors – more than twice as many as the last edition in 2022, which attracted almost 5,000 trade visitors across its three days. The exhibition will feature five key dedicated industry segments, Fragrance; Hair, Nails & Salon Supplies; Cosmetics & Skincare; and Machinery, Packaging, Raw Materials & Contract Manufacturing as well as a number of features to be announced.

“Supported by the governments Vision 2030 plan, the beauty industry in Saudi Arabia continues to grow, and Beautyworld is dedicated to providing a unique platform for local and international players in the beauty industry to both establish and expand their reach in one of the world’s most promising regional markets” said Show Director, Ali Akbar.

Saudi Arabia is the 5th Beautyworld event globally, following annual shows in Dubai (Beautyworld Middle East) and Japan (Beautyworld Japan, Beautyworld Japan West, and Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka).
